    Cambodia-China Friendship Preah Kossamak Hospital to Be Operated Digitally with Cloud Hospital Operating System, Peth Yoeung

    Phnom Penh_ 14 Jan 2020: Cambodia’s cloud-based hospital operating system Peth Yoeung and Cambodia-China Friendship Preah Kossamak Hospital sign a cooperating agreement yesterday to transform the hospital’s operation and services to be digitalized.

    Being agreed upon by both parties, Ms. Pong Limsan, Founder and CEO of Peth Yoeung and First Womentech Asia, and Dr. Tan Sokun, Director of the Cambodia-China Friendship Preah Kossamak Hospital agreed on the implementation schedule that Cambodia-China Friendship Preah Kossmak Hospital will be fully installed and operated with cloud-based hospital operating system, Peth Yoeung, in less than a month,so that every patient who goes to this hospital can receive digital healthcare services.

    Cambodia-China Friendship Preah Kossamak Hospital is one of Cambodia’s largest national hospitals that is offering treatment services of more than 30 specialties, employing more than 500 staff to provide medical service for the Cambodian population in Phnom Penh and across the kingdom.  

    Dr. Tan Sokun, Director of the Cambodia-China Friendship Preah Kossamak Hospital said, “With technology aid of cloud-based hospital operating system Peth Yoeung, our Cambodia-China Friendship Preah Kossamak Hospital will become a leading, largest national hospital goes digital, and all of our 30 specialty services will serve daily to the visiting patients digitally soon. We are committed to keep improving and strengthening our treatment services and care for our patients.”    

    Mr. Bin Socheat, spokesman and Peth Yoeung’s Business Operation Advisor said this MOU between cloud-based hospital operating system Peth Yoeung of First Womentech Asia company and Cambodia-China Friendship Preah Kossamak Hospital means that an average of 300 people who go to the hospital every day would be able to receive a digital healthcare service and will be the e-Health Visa (a personalized patient information and medical record platform) holders, which will be launch very soon by Peth Yoeung.

    He further mentions that: “Cloud-based hospital operating system, Peth Yoeung, will not only help reduce the workload of the hospital staff but will also make them work faster and more convenient, helping more patients. It will also reduce the hospital expense by limiting unnecessary printing and the use of paper”.

    Peth Yoeung is a cloud-based hospital operating system that helps every level of public and private hospitals and clinics to operate digitally using new technology, so every document and patient’s records are safely stored in Cloud; easy to track and find later.

    As of recently, the Peth Yoeung is fully installed and being used by more than 120 private and public hospitals/clinics across Cambodia. Cambodia’s two national public hospitals have gone live with Peth Yoeung: Preah Ang Doung Hospital has gone live since mid-2019, and the National Pediatric Hospital has gone live in December 2019.

    To these days, Peth Yoeung has been used by active users, an estimated 5,000 users, most of whom are medical doctors, specialist doctors, lab technicians, imagery doctors, pharmacists, nurses, midwives, healthcare professionals, and hospital administrative staff.

    Cloud-based hospital operating system, Peth Yoeung, has been impacting the lives of almost 0.5 million Cambodian since it has been deployed and launched into the market in 2017.

    Peth Yoeung is expected to launch its new service, e-Health Yoeung Platform, Cambodia’s first healthcare marketplace in the first quarter of 2020. The newly developed platform service will create a greater, bigger impact on the health of Cambodian people as its vision to join the development of the healthcare system in Cambodia with government through the Ministry of Public Health, and the public and private hospitals-clinics.
